Shakthi Knit Wears was established in 2002 by Mr. Karthikeyan R in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu.
We manufacture knit and woven garments for international buyers. We use different fabric blends, including regular and recycled yarns, based on buyer requirements.
Our team manages sample development, production, quality checks and shipment, while keeping buyers informed throughout the order.
Our export markets
The USA is our main export market. We also supply buyers in Dubai and Europe, and have previously shipped to South Africa and South Korea.

02 / WHERE WE WORK
Our Factory in Tirupur
Our factory in Tirupur has more than 150 sewing machines and around 200 production workers. Our team manages sampling, production, quality checks, packing and buyer communication.
03 / HOW WE WORK
Our process.
From sample to shipment.
Our team handles each order from sample development to final shipment. We plan the work, check the garments and keep buyers updated along the way.
Sample development
Our dedicated sampling team develops samples to meet each buyer’s requirements. Our experienced staff pay close attention to fabric, fit, stitching and finishing, and make changes based on buyer feedback before production begins.
Production planning
Our planning team arranges the materials, machines and workers needed for each order. We plan each stage around the approved sample, order quantity and agreed delivery date.
Garment manufacturing
Our production team makes knit and woven garments in line with the approved sample. We check measurements, stitching and finishing during production to maintain consistent quality.
Merchandising & follow-up
Our merchandising team keeps buyers updated from sample development to shipment. They coordinate with each department, follow up on approvals and help resolve questions during the order.
Quality checks & shipment
Our quality team checks finished garments before packing. We follow the buyer’s packing and labelling requirements and prepare the order and documents for shipment.

Printing, Washing & Finishing
We offer different prints, washes and finishing details based on the buyer’s design and approved sample.
Special prints
We offer different printing methods to match the buyer’s design. These include flock, reactive, high-density, reflective, puff, glitter, glow-in-the-dark and water-based prints.
Garment washes
We use different wash treatments to give garments the required look and feel. Options include tie-dye, acid wash, burnout and discharge effects.
Embellishments
We add details such as embossing, sequins, beads, stones and transfer prints to match the approved design.
Colour & fabric options
We work with regular and recycled yarns in different fabric blends. Colours are matched to the buyer’s Pantone reference and approved before production.

We make knit and woven trousers, pajamas and nightwear for men, women and children.

We make boxer shorts, briefs, vests and other innerwear in fabrics chosen for comfort and fit.

Quality Checks at Every Stage
We check fabric, measurements, stitching, colour and finishing throughout production. Our team uses the approved sample and buyer requirements as the reference for these checks.
Before packing, we inspect the finished garments and check the labels, quantities and packing details. We also follow any testing and inspection requirements agreed with the buyer.
